The city of Jonzac and Montendre City are conveniently located near historical sites and sandy beaches. Both cities offer a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. Additionally, the stunning beaches of Royan, St George Didonne, and Angouleme, as well as the historic cities of Cognac, Saintes, Pons, Meschers, Talmont, Royan, and Bordeaux, are all less than an hour away.

We warmly welcome you to Domaine, which is suitable for all occasions such as family reunions, workshops, parties, birthdays, and weddings. The village hall is at your disposal, providing the perfect space for gatherings.

Sunflowers Cottage can accommodate up to 12 people and offers a spacious living room with a TV and DVD player, a cozy fireplace for winter evenings, and a fully equipped kitchen including a cooktop, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. There are four bedrooms, one located on the ground floor with a 140x200 cm bed, and three on the first floor. The cottage also features a large bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground floor and a bathroom with a bath upstairs. Other amenities include two toilets, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and a vacuum cleaner. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. The weekly rental prices vary depending on the season.

Le Petit Chai Cottage can accommodate 5 to 6 people and is a converted wine store. It offers a comfortable living room with a TV and DVD player, a fireplace for cozy winter evenings, and a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a 140x200 cm bed and another with three beds measuring 90X200 cm. There is also a possibility of an extra bed (sofa bed) in the lounge. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and there is a separate toilet. Amenities include a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and a vacuum cleaner. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. The weekly rental prices vary depending on the season.

We also offer two charming guest rooms, Clelia and Le Boudoir, both located on the first floor of the main house. Reservation for the host table is available, featuring delightful meals made with fresh harvest from the garden area.

During your stay, you will have free access to the garden, the fenced-off pool measuring 12 meters by 6, and the indoor games room equipped with table tennis, darts, pinball, billiards, and fitness equipment. Outdoor activities include a badminton field and various games for children. We also provide bikes for adults and children, as well as golf clubs for those interested in golfing at Montendre. The nearby village offers free access to a tennis court and boules. Additionally, fishing, hiking, lake activities, kayaking, and spa treatments are available at the edge of the site.

Pets are allowed in the cottages.

Location and access:

Chaunac is situated approximately 10 km from Jonzac Montendre, 60 km from Angoulême, and 50 km from Bordeaux (40 minutes).

By car:
To reach Chaunac from Bordeaux, take the A10 towards Paris and exit at 39B (Angoulême). Then, follow the RN10 and take the Montlieu-La-Garde exit leading to Montendre.
If coming from Paris, take the A10 towards Poitiers South and then the RN10 towards Angoulême. Exit at Montlieu-La-Garde and continue towards Montendre.
For travelers coming from the west, exit at 37 on the A10 (Mirambeau) and follow the D730 towards Montendre.

By train:
The nearest train station is Montendre, which is 10 km away. Alternatively, you can take the Atlantic TGV to Bordeaux or Angoulême and rent a car. There is also the option of reaching Jonzac or Montendre by TER.

By plane:
Bordeaux-Merignac Airport is located 55 km away (45 minutes).
