Description:

Description for B&B:

St. John Commandery of Artin is a charming guest house that offers a unique living experience amidst its court, cellars, and garden. Originally a hospital order of St. John of Jerusalem, this historical building was transformed into a farm after the Revolution. Today, the barn, stables, and bread oven dug in the rock still remain, adding to the rustic ambiance.

Our four guest rooms, named Aunis, Gamay, Jasnières, and Vouvray, pay homage to the abundance of vineyards in the surrounding area. Additionally, we have a spacious family room called Jasnières that can accommodate up to five people. Nestled in the old granary of the farm, our guest rooms feature exposed beams and polished plaster, creating a timeless and elegant atmosphere. For those who enjoy indulging in a leisurely morning meal, we offer a delightful Sunday brunch that can be reserved in advance.

As part of our commitment to showcasing the regional flavors, we invite our guests to join us for the "meal of the Commandery" by reservation. During this delightful gathering, we create a friendly atmosphere where we introduce you to our local producers. Our host, who is passionate about food and wine, curates delicious alternatives for our guests to savor. Be sure to inquire about this unique dining experience!

To enhance your stay, we organize tasting courses, workshops, and sensory taste games for guests of all ages. These activities provide an opportunity to bond with family and friends while exploring your taste buds. Our wine tasting sessions offer an introduction to the art of wine appreciation, allowing you to expand your knowledge and enjoy delightful moments with your loved ones.

Come and experience the magic of St. John Commandery of Artin, where history, nature, and gastronomy converge to create an unforgettable stay.
