Description for Gite

Located in Maisons-Laffitte, a city known for its equestrian culture, this fully restored accommodation offers a truly authentic "French" experience. Whether you are a tourist or a business traveler, you will appreciate the rare and original environment it provides.

Step into a charming space adorned with antique furniture from the gray Trianon court, comfortable chairs, carpets on a light wood floor, curtains and bedspreads with the classic toile de Jouy pattern. A leather-covered desk, bronze sconces, and a crystal chandelier enhance the elegance of the space, while the elegant crockery and Egyptian cotton bed linen add a touch of luxury.

We have taken care to provide modern comforts such as a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, extractor hood, espresso machine, refrigerator, freezer, a separate bedroom with a 160-sized bed, and two 90-sized beds in the living room. Other amenities include a color TV with cable, DVD player, printer, wireless internet, telephone, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and vacuum cleaner.

The accommodation is conveniently located just 8 minutes away from the train station, from where you can reach Paris in no time via the RER A (10 minutes to La Defense, 15 minutes to Champs Elysées) or the SNCF (20 minutes to Saint Lazare train station, near department stores like Printemps and Galeries Lafayette). The RER A also provides direct access to Disneyland.

Within a 10-minute walk of the city center, you will discover The Grocery Longueil, a renowned delicatessen in the region, as well as a supermarket, a discount store, numerous restaurants, and bakeries. The seventeenth-century park designed by Mansart houses many beautiful homes, two of which have been converted into gourmet restaurants.

For horse racing enthusiasts, the accommodation is located near the racetrack where you can admire the stables and watch thoroughbreds train. You can also enjoy horseback riding, golf, or take a stroll in the nearby forest of Saint Germain en Laye (10 minutes away).

The city of Saint Germain en Laye, just 7km away, is a bustling commercial hub and the birthplace of Louis XIV. It is home to the castle built by François the First and the Museum of National Antiquities. From the terrace, which stretches over 2400 meters, you can enjoy an exceptional view of Paris.

Versailles and its famous castle are only 20 km away, while the Claude Monet Foundation in Giverny can be reached via the highway in 62 km.

As third-generation locals in Maisons-Laffitte, with 35 years of experience in the antiques industry, we are committed to making you fall in love with our city, our region, and Paris, "the most beautiful city in the world!"
