THE GARDEN HOUSE

This charming gite offers a spacious and comfortable stay for guests. On the ground floor, you will find a large open-plan living area with a fully equipped corner kitchen and dining area. There is also a cozy double bedroom and a spacious bathroom with an open shower unit. Upstairs, there is a twin bedded room for additional sleeping arrangements.

For added convenience, there is a utility room in the garage with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Located in the scenic Suisse Normande region, this property is surrounded by beautiful hills, gorges, and rivers. It is a popular destination for walkers, fishermen, climbers, and canoeists. Cyclists will also enjoy the miles of safe and varied cycling tracks in the area. A large folder full of brochures in the gite provides all the information you need to explore the numerous activities available, including fishing, walking, canoeing, rock climbing, cycling, mountain biking, paragliding, and golfing.

The gite is conveniently located near various attractions. Caen, with its historic buildings and Normandy landing beaches, is just a 45-minute drive away. Bayeux, famous for its tapestry, is also within a 45-minute drive. Falaise, the birthplace of Guillaume the Conqueror, is only half an hour away by car. Closer to the gite, you will find Clécy, the capital of Suisse Normande, which offers a delightful town square, riverside restaurants, and charming bars and cafes, all less than two miles down the road.

The gite is available for rent at different prices depending on the time of year. Changeover day is typically Saturday to Saturday, but there is some flexibility. Weekends and mid-week stays are also possible. Electricity is included in the rental price, and each room is equipped with electric convector heaters for added comfort.

The property is conveniently located 45 minutes away from the Ouistreham ferry terminal. Additionally, it is approximately 1 hour away from The Havre ferry terminal and 2 hours away from Cherbourg. If you plan to drive from Dieppe, it will take you around 2 hours and 45 minutes. Finally, the property is approximately 3 hours away from Paris.
