Located in the heart of the historic village of Pontlevoy, our meticulously restored 19th century barn exudes charm. Nestled amidst the enchanting Chateaux de la Loire, our attention to detail is evident in the interior design and decoration. Guests can luxuriate in our 17m long pool, complete with pool loungers and umbrellas, or unwind in our expansive contemporary garden. Additionally, we offer an outdoor hot tub for ultimate relaxation. Despite its tranquil setting, our location boasts the convenience of being just a few minutes' walk from the city center, Abbey, two restaurants, a small supermarket, and bakery. Please note that the pool is closed on Sunday afternoons for maintenance and at night for security reasons. For your convenience, we provide secure parking on the property.

Description for Gite

This 140m2 duplex cottage offers a comfortable and spacious stay. It features three separate bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a king size bed, a double bedroom with a queen size bed, and a twin bedroom with two single beds. The ground floor includes a large shower room with a WC, a guest WC with a vanity, and a well-equipped open American kitchen with a large cooking range, two ovens, a washing machine/dryer, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a mixer. Additionally, there is a bar, a pantry with a large refrigerator, a dining room for eight people, and a lounge area with a three-seater sofa, four armchairs, a TV, and a home cinema system. The semi-covered patio is furnished with teak garden furniture and a spacious gas barbecue. It is important to note that the cottage is located on the extreme right of the main building.

On the first floor, there is a 70m2 loft accessible through the guest room. This loft includes two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds. It also features a fitted kitchen, a large shower room with a WC, a dining room, and a lounge area with a TV. Guests are welcome to enjoy the swimming pool, garden, and private parking facilities.

A wonderful location in the heart of the hostoric France.
Refined but unpretentious place for a couple or family. We enjoyed the atmosphere: "great comfort in old stones " Swimming pool. Vegetables from the organic garden. Veru close to the wondrous Loire castles! What else ;-)

Directions

To get there, exit Blois while driving on the A10. Then, follow the signs for Vierzon on the D952 road. Cross the Loire River and immediately after the bridge, turn right towards Montrichard on the D951 road. Stay along the Loire River and keep driving on the D751 road until you reach Pontlevoy. In the village, just before reaching Auberge de l'Ecole, turn right onto Rue du Billeux, which later becomes Rue des Fourneaux.
