For those who enjoy angling, the Saône and Grosne rivers, the Grison, the Seille, and various ponds provide ample opportunities. If swimming is more your style, the lakes of LAIVES are only 8 minutes away from the cottage, offering a beautiful beach, paddle boats, and games.

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the 33 hiking trails available, as well as the GROSNE + SAONE paths between the GR 76 and the Paths Moines. The bucolic GREENWAY, adorned with castles, forests, and groves, and the ROUTE BLUE along the Saône are perfect for walkers, mountain biking, and skating. We provide mountain bikes, children's bikes, and trailers for your convenience. Additionally, boat tours along the Saône and SEILLE are a delightful way to discover the region.

During your stay, we provide ready-to-use ATVs for biking adventures on the small forest roads surrounding the house. Our property also offers a society library, games, and tourist documentation for your leisurely enjoyment. You can also take a stroll through our fruit orchard and savor the flavors of the season.

Inside the cottage, you will find a spacious and bright living room with a large screen TV, TNT, and WIFI. The comfortable corner sofa is the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploration. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, and washing machine. The bathroom features a shower, heated towel rail, and hairdryer. There is also a separate toilet.

Upstairs, you will find two cozy bedrooms. The first bedroom offers a comfortable double bed (140 cm) for two people. The second bedroom features another double bed (140 cm) for two people, as well as an additional single bed (90 cm) for one person. There is also a separate toilet and washbasin. If needed, a cot is available upon request.

To reach SENNECEY cottage LE GRAND in Saone et Loire, follow these travel directions: It is a 15-minute drive from CHALON-SUR-SAONE, and only 8 minutes away from Tournus via the A6 Chalon Sud and Tournus motorway exits. If you are traveling from Macon, it will take approximately 30 minutes, while from Lyon it will take around 1 hour. If you are coming from Paris, expect a travel time of approximately 3 and a half hours.
