This charming Maison de Maitre, constructed in 1890, is situated in peaceful and picturesque leafy grounds on the border of Charente and Dordogne, near Angouleme. The interior is tastefully adorned in a stylish Swedish fashion, combining elegance with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Notably, the house has been featured in prestigious publications such as Jean Darc Living magazine in May 2017 and Maison Chic in September.

Whether you are seeking a base to explore the renowned wine regions of Cognac and Bordeaux, or to immerse yourself in the captivating countryside and vibrant Brocante markets of Charente and Dordogne, this is the perfect place to stay. Alternatively, if you are embarking on a longer journey across France, our establishment offers a comfortable and convenient overnight stop. The N10 autoroute, which runs from north to south, is easily accessible from our location, and we are more than happy to recommend fantastic nearby destinations for memorable day trips. As a bonus, a continental breakfast is included in your stay, and for those craving a dose of culture, Paris is just a 2.5-hour TGV ride away.

Our private suite boasts captivating views of the grounds and gardens, and features an incredibly comfortable king-sized double bed. Additionally, the suite includes a private bathroom with both a bath and a shower, as well as a separate dressing room/sitting room. The nearest airports are Bordeaux and Limoges, with easy access to Eurostar from London via Paris or Lilles. Please note that a minimum stay of 2 nights is required, and by arrangement, we can accommodate three guests and provide three beds for an additional fee.
