Welcome to our charming cottage, "the Gâtinelle," where old-world charm meets eco-friendly construction and 3-star comfort. We have recently renovated this property with love and care, ensuring that your holiday experience is synonymous with comfort and tranquility in a protected environment. Our farm has been organic for over 30 years, so you can rest assured that your stay will be in harmony with nature.Located just 5 km away from the medieval city of Parthenay, our cottage offers easy access to prestigious destinations such as Puy du Fou, La Rochelle, Marais Poitevin, Vendée beaches, and Futuroscope. Whether you enjoy festivals, walking circuits, swimming areas, or exploring our beautiful region of Gâtine, there is plenty to see and do.
Inside the cottage, you will find a spacious and bright living room that opens onto a terrace overlooking a stunning wooded valley. The accommodation comprises two cozy bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two bunk beds and a single bed), a mezzanine with a sofa bed for two, a well-equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher and washing machine), and a garden to relax in.
For your children's entertainment, we have a playground with a small above-ground pool, trampoline, swing, and table tennis. Additionally, I would be delighted to take you on a tour of the farm, where you and your children can participate in milking goats and learn some of our cheese manufacturing secrets. It's a fantastic opportunity for a fun and educational family experience.
