The farmhouse, originally built in 1838, has been transformed into a charming Bed & Breakfast that offers five cozy rooms. Additionally, there is a recreation building called the Blue Lagoon, which caters to sports, games, art, workshops, weddings, festivities, and room rentals for receptions. In the meadow, we have also set up a mini camping area.Each of the five bedrooms comes with a private bathroom and separate toilet. These rooms are designed to transport you to different places around the world that have left us with beautiful and sweet memories. All the bedrooms offer stunning views of the garden and the mountains beyond. We have a total of five double rooms available.
PtitMonde enjoys a prime location near Col de Bonhomme, Hohneck, and the lakes of Xonrupt Longemer and Gérardmer. From our terrace, you can even catch a glimpse of the scenic Route de Crêtes. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast looking for tranquility or a motorcycle enthusiast seeking a place to rest and recharge, PtitMonde is the perfect destination. Our meticulously maintained sunny garden provides ample opportunities for relaxation, whether it's by the pond, on the grass, in a hammock, or in one of the many shaded seating areas. For those interested in activities like ping-pong, table football, music, or exploring our mini flea market, the Blue Lagoon is the place to be.
During the winter season, our guests will feel right at home at PtitMonde. The nearby ski resorts of La Bresse, Gérardmer, and Lac Blanc offer fantastic opportunities for winter sports enthusiasts. Adjacent to our property, you can embark on a picturesque snowshoeing trail. After a day of adventure, unwind in front of the fireplace in our central living room while enjoying a cup of Glühwein or hot cocoa.
Food is a top priority at PtitMonde, and all of our meals are thoughtfully prepared using fresh ingredients. Our menu reflects the diverse flavors and dishes we have encountered during our travels around the world. Indulge in a three-course dinner that takes you on a culinary journey across the globe.
Start your day with our generous buffet breakfast, and be pleasantly surprised by our unique PtitMonde lunch options. In the evenings, treat yourself to a three-course dinner featuring flavors from France to Russia, Spain to Indonesia, Italy to Africa, and beyond. We take pride in sourcing ingredients from our own vegetable garden whenever possible. We also offer delicious vegetarian meals for our guests.
Coffee lovers will appreciate our luxury coffee bean espresso machine, which can prepare a wide range of coffee beverages, from ristrettos to latte macchiatos. Tea enthusiasts will find an extensive selection of (herbal) teas, including our own homemade blends. We are happy to accommodate gluten allergies upon request and can also provide meals aligned with Chris Verburgh's "The Food Hourglass" diet.
For those on the go, we offer convenient lunchboxes filled with fruits, snacks, soft drinks, and a choice of sandwiches made with French or homemade bread. Alternatively, you can enjoy a sit-down lunch in our dining room, where we serve a variety of warm and cold meals, fresh smoothies, wholesome cakes, salads, deluxe sandwiches, and homemade soup.
Our buffet-style breakfast features homemade bread, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, croissants, chocolate bread, homemade brioche, or fresh French bread from the local bakery. We also provide cottage cheese, muesli, tea/coffee, freshly squeezed fruit juices, homemade jams, honey, butter, cheese, and cold meats.
Coffee and tea are included throughout your stay, and the entire Bed and Breakfast is centrally heated for your comfort. PtitMonde welcomes guests all year round.
Description for Gite
Our gîte, known as "Grand Voyage," offers a spacious open kitchen, living room, and three comfortable 2-person bedrooms, accommodating a total of 6 people. The gîte is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities.The kitchen/living room area spans across 33 square meters, while the bedrooms are sized at 21, 20, and 16 square meters respectively. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner electric plate, oven, and microwave, allowing you to prepare delicious meals. Additionally, a refrigerator with a freezer, kettle, and coffee maker are also provided. Stay connected with our complimentary WiFi service.
The gîte is available for rent for a minimum duration of 4 days and welcomes guests aged 16 years and older.
Located within the same building as our chambre d'hôtes, gîte residents have access to all the facilities and amenities offered to our guests. These include a TV room, an information corner, a beautiful garden, a recreation room featuring a piano and table tennis table, a washing machine, and a minibar. You can also opt to indulge in our breakfast buffet and enjoy a delightful evening at our table d'hôtes.
The price for renting our gîte is 175 euros per day. This price includes cleaning costs, bed linen and towels, electricity and heating charges, as well as the tourist tax. Please note that the tourist tax is not included and amounts to 0.50 euros per person per night.
From October 1 to May 1, there is an additional charge of 15 euros per day towards heating costs.

Start your journey from Luxembourg and head towards Metz and Nancy. From there, continue in the direction of Strasbourg and Colmar.
As you approach Colmar, approximately 40km before reaching it, you will pass by Saint Dié. Take the exit for Gerardmer at this point.
After driving for about 15 km, you will come across a roundabout in Anould. Take the exit for Fraize, following the sign.
After the roundabout, continue straight and take the second street on your right, which is located around 500m after the roundabout. Look for the LogoPtitMondeOnline.
Stay on Rue Jeanne dArc, keeping to the left. This road is quite long and winding.
After approximately 1 km, turn left onto the first road you encounter.
Follow this road for about 2.5 km until you reach a T-junction. At the junction, turn right following the sign for PtitMonde.
After 200m, you will arrive at your destination: PtitMonde. Look for the signs directing you to the parking area. Proceed to check in at the Entrance.
You can conveniently load and unload your belongings at the entrance.
