This charming 18th-century former silk house has been beautifully restored in the small hamlet of Chabanne, conveniently located near Chirols Vals les Bains, Antraigues, and Aubenas. The restoration of this stone house successfully combines traditional character with a contemporary aesthetic, showcasing features such as old chestnut beams, stone windows, and antique furniture alongside polished concrete floors, a metal staircase, and aluminum door frames.With a generous size of 70 m2, the cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. It boasts 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed (140cm) and the other with twin beds (90 cm). The main floor features a walk-in shower and a lava stone sink, easily accessible from both bedrooms.
The cozy living room, with its high ceiling and abundant natural light streaming through the large bay window, offers a particularly inviting space. It is equipped with a kitchenette and a comfortable seating area with a flat-screen TV. The kitchen, open to the living area, is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and dishwasher, providing everything necessary for meal preparation.
An iron staircase leads to a bridge with a relaxation area and a private terrace of 40 m2, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys. From here, guests can enjoy panoramic vistas of the 3 valleys and the majestic Tanargue mountains. The outdoor space is furnished with a table, lounge chairs, an electric barbecue, and an old stone sink, creating an idyllic atmosphere for outdoor dining and relaxation.
Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity of various rivers, such as the Ardèche, Fontaulière, and Bourges, which offer beautiful spots for swimming and fishing.
