The Charretterie or "Old Wagon Shed" is a beautifully renovated farm building in the graunds of a 400 year old farm. Ten minutes from the sea and the pretty resort of Veules les Roses, Houdetot is a small village which is rural and very peaceful. Local shops are 1km and there are market towns and supermarkets nearby (10 mins drive). Sleeps up to 5. Two bedrooms (one double & one double + single), large sittingroom with balcony, kitchenette, private garden. All south facing, looking out on to fields. TV/DVD, washing machine, dishwasher, barbecue, table tennis, deck chairs etc. Central heating. Very pretty location, peaceful and relaxing. Plenty to do and visit locally. Good restaurants nearby. The area has not been spoilt and there is a feeling of remoteness even in the height of summer. No dogsReviews

4 rue de la Mare, 76740 Houdetot. From Calais and Boulogne follow routes for Le Havre and leave the A29 to pick up the D20 past Doudeville. 1 km after St Colomb take the right turn to Houdetot. From the coast, head for Angien and Fontaine-le-Dun. Houdetot lies between the two.
