Description for Gite

In 2017, we upgraded our accommodations to brand new safari tents! Say goodbye to sleeping on the floor and sharing bathrooms, and say hello to the beauty of the outdoors and camping. This is why glamping, or glamorous camping, has become so popular. We have gone above and beyond to create a luxurious camping experience for our guests.

When you stay with us, you won't find loud music or cars right next to your tent, and you'll have plenty of privacy with no super close neighbors. Instead, you'll find a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Our small-scale resort features six tents, each uniquely decorated. One tent is situated separately for those seeking even more privacy, while the other five are spread out over a spacious 1.25-acre field. All of our tents offer stunning views of the surrounding fields.

Every tent includes a veranda, private space, and comfortable beds (we sleep on them ourselves too!). Each tent can accommodate up to four people and is equipped with a dining table, chairs, and a sitting area. Mosquito nets are provided for all beds. As an added bonus, you'll have your own private bathroom just steps away. Our recently renovated bathroom building features brand new shower rooms, and each door is labeled with your family name, ensuring it's exclusively yours during your stay.

Our large former cow barn serves as a multi-purpose space for our guests. You can enjoy your complimentary breakfast here in the morning, make tea and coffee, utilize the fridge, and use the free BBQs available. You can also join us for dinner by adding your name to the list, or you have the option to rent a mobile cooking unit for your own tent. For cooler nights during the off-season, you can rent a gas heating unit, or we provide you with hot water bottles and extra blankets free of charge.
