Description for B&B:

The Main House

The Maison de l'Orchidée is a historic Masters Vignernon house, originally built in the 1700s. While preserving its original charm, the main facilities of the house have been updated to provide a modern standard for bed and breakfast, Chambre d'Hôtes. The inclusion of wooden doors and skirtings adds to the sense of history within the building. With central heating in all rooms, the house is perfect for breaks during the later seasons. The loft space has been well-insulated, with half a meter of insulation to ensure warmth during the winter months. This creates a cozy atmosphere for visits in October and November, when the autumn colors are truly stunning. It's a delight to return to a warm room and enjoy a complimentary mug of hot chocolate or Coca (available for winter bookings only, from November to March). The thickness of the walls helps maintain a comfortable temperature year-round, keeping the house cool in the summer and retaining heat in the winter. Additionally, all bedroom suites are equipped with large ceiling fans to circulate air during warmer summer nights, ensuring a pleasant night's sleep.
