Description for Gite

"Le Matelot & La Normande" is a charming apartment named after a beautiful heirloom Norman cupboard that has been passed down through generations. The apartment features a sailor chic decor with vintage buttons, creating a unique and stylish atmosphere. The apartment is filled with natural light and spans approximately 33 square meters, comfortably accommodating 2 to 3 guests.

Upon entering, you will find a spacious living room of 17 square meters, equipped with a kitchen, a wardrobe dresser in the Norman style, a dining table with three chairs, and a bed (70 * 190) suitable for a child or adult during the day. There is also a cozy bedroom measuring 9 square meters, furnished with a comfortable double bed (140 * 190). The bathroom, covering an area of 7 square meters, features an old desk with a basin, a large mirror, a shower, a toilet, a hairdryer, and a wardrobe.

The apartment boasts a contrasting decor, combining traditional elements such as bourgeois moldings and dark wood furniture with chic maritime accessories and vintage items from the 50s and 60s. The walls are painted in soft shades of blue, gray, white, and linen, creating a soothing and elegant ambiance. The living room features beautiful parquet floors, while the bedroom is adorned with seagrass flooring, and the bathroom has a charming painted floor. Throughout the apartment, you will find tasteful marine-themed objects and a selection of books for your enjoyment.

The apartment is bright, with large windows illuminating both the living room and the bedroom, which face south and offer a pleasant view of a small square with a nearby grocery store. Some residents park their cars in this area. The shower room overlooks the alley Halley and features cathedral glass windows.

In addition to "Le Matelot & La Normande," we also offer "The Loft Seaman," a unique and spacious studio with sloping ceilings and exposed beams. Its contemporary glass bathroom and industrial decor, including a jug and navy-inspired items, add character to the space. This studio, covering approximately 32 square meters, is designed for two people.

The studio features a fully equipped kitchen area with a black mosaic design and an industrial-style cloakroom serving as a dresser. The dining area includes a table and two high chairs, while the sleeping area offers a comfortable king-size bed (160 * 200). The shower room is enclosed by a canopy and features a large tiled shower, an old wooden bench with a basin, a toilet, and a hairdryer. Storage options such as commodus, trunks, baskets, and hooks are available.

The decor of the studio is characterized by shades of white, pale gray, taupe, black, and wood. The exposed beams and metal canopy add a touch of rustic charm. The furniture is a mix of antique flea market finds and industrial-inspired pieces. Similar to "Le Matelot & La Normande," the studio also features marine-themed objects and a collection of books for your entertainment.

The studio is well-lit, with two large night-side velux windows in the kitchen area, fitted with blinds and sunshades. These windows offer a beautiful view of the sky, the rooftops, and the Virgin fires. Additionally, there is a small skylight in the bathroom, and a dog sitting area overlooks the rooftops.

Whether you choose "Le Matelot & La Normande" or "The Loft Seaman," both apartments offer a unique and comfortable stay, with their distinctive decor, thoughtful amenities, and convenient locations.
