Description for B&B:

Véronique and Jean Pierre Duleux have established their residence in the enchanting historic estate known as Domaine de la Carrère, which traces its origins back to the 17th century. This remarkable property, once inhabited by nobles, merchants, and traders, was constructed during the illustrious reign of Louis XIV, also known as the Sun King. Situated in the captivating region of Arthez-de-Béarn, in the Pyrénées Atlantique, Domain de la Carrère finds itself nestled between the majestic mountains and the mesmerizing sea. Immerse yourself in the essence of French culture, dynamism, and beauty, as you discover the nearby city of Henri IV, PAU, a mere 20-minute drive away. Alternatively, indulge in the glitz and glamour of BIARRITZ, just 40 minutes away. If adventure beckons, venture into the Pyrenees Mountains or even cross the border into Spain, both reachable within an hour's drive. For your convenience, the charming town of ORTHEZ is a mere 10 minutes away. Our collection of photographs showcases two exquisite bedroom suites, exuding spaciousness and charm, complete with dressing rooms. Choose between two 4-ft single beds or an antique double bed, and luxuriate in the attached en-suite large shower room, featuring a power shower, double sink unit, toilet, hair dryer, dressing gowns, and toiletries. Indulge in the convenience of tea and coffee facilities, as well as a television for your entertainment. To enhance your experience, we offer a high-quality Table d'hôtes dinner, which includes an apéritif, starter, main course, dessert, wine, and coffee, available upon request.
