The hamlet of Pichovet Vachères can be found on the southern slopes of the mountain of Lure, situated between the towns of Reillanne, Forcalquier, and Banon. If you are coming from Aix en Provence or Marseille, you can reach the hamlet by taking the A51 motorway and exiting at La Brillanne. If you are approaching from the Rhone valley, you will need to cross the Luberon region via Apt.
