The Old Bakery is located on the outskirts of the charming village of Langourla in Brittany, occupying a spacious 1-acre plot. Just a short 15-minute drive away is the medieval town of Jugon les Lacs. The main house features 4 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, all equipped with private facilities. Additionally, there is a fully furnished 2-bedroom Gite/Cottage available for longer stays. Upon your arrival, a complimentary welcome drink will be provided to help you settle in. If you prefer to dine in, we offer a variety of menus for relaxed evening dining. To ensure the finest local ingredients, we kindly request 24 hours notice for your table. For a truly indulgent experience, our gourmet breaks can be booked for a minimum of 4 guests. Wine, beer, and cider are also available for purchase. Should you wish to embark on day trips, we can provide a packed lunch with 24 hours notice. Langourla is a tranquil village surrounded by rolling countryside and nearby woodlands. It offers essential shops, 2 bars, and a beautiful church, making it the perfect backdrop for your holiday. With St Malo just an hour's drive away, Rennes Airport 40 minutes away, and the stunning sandy beaches and harbors of baie de St Brieuc a mere 35 minutes away, Langourla is ideally located for exploring Cotes dArmor, Ille et Vilaine, and Morbihan. Within a few kilometers, you can discover the beautiful coastline stretching from Val-Andre to Cap Fréhel, where sandy beaches transition into rugged shores. The area is also home to numerous lakes, offering opportunities for fishing, boating, and bird watching. Whether you prefer leisurely strolls or more challenging hikes, there are plenty of walking trails to suit all levels of ability. Cyclists also frequent the area, attracted by its scenic routes. Langourla hosts an annual Jazz Festival by the lake during the summer, and the nearby medieval town of Montcontour is renowned for its bi-annual medieval fete.

Description for Gite

"The Cottage: This self-catering gite is situated next to the main house and offers everything you need for a comfortable and independent stay. It comfortably accommodates 4 people in two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a double bed. Upstairs, you will find a toilet, while downstairs there is a toilet and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, gas hob and oven, microwave, and washing machine.

The sitting area is thoughtfully furnished to ensure a relaxing stay, complete with a TV and Satellite. Private parking is available, and there is also a BBQ area for outdoor dining, allowing you to enjoy your stay in privacy and comfort. Additionally, we provide all bed linen and towels for your convenience. Tariffs are available upon request, and we are happy to accommodate both long and short stays."

Directions

Directions to La Vieille Boulangerie from St Malo Port:
1. Follow the signs for Toutes Directions, heading towards Rennes.
2. Join the N176, heading west towards St Brieuc and Dinan.
3. Stay on the N176 until you pass Dinan, then turn off for Caulnes and Broons onto the D766.
4. After approximately 1-2 kilometers, the D766 turns into the D793. At the roundabout, take the road to Broons (D793).

Directions to La Vieille Boulangerie from Dinard Airport:
1. Take the D766, which merges onto the N176.
2. Join the N176, heading west towards St Brieuc and Dinan.
3. Stay on the N176 until you pass Dinan, then turn off for Caulnes and Broons onto the D766.
4. After approximately 1-2 kilometers, the D766 becomes the D793. At the roundabout, take the road to Broons (D793).

Once you arrive in Broons:
1. Go straight through the center and bear left after the church towards Ereac (D793).
2. In Ereac, take the second exit at the roundabout as you enter the village, heading on the D46 to Langourla (La Poste should be on your right and the Pharmacie on your left).
3. After about 4 kilometers, you will see a small concrete signpost on the left pointing right to Rouillac. Ignore this.
4. Almost immediately after, you will see another signpost on the right pointing left to Langourla. Take this road and follow it to the crossroads in the village (big church on your right, shop and bar/tabac in front).
5. Go straight over the crossroads, past the pink closed Boulangerie on the left, and La Vieille Boulangerie is about 300 meters further on the right.

If you miss the small concrete signpost:
1. Keep going until you reach a right-hand bend.
2. Turn left at the bend, and after a short distance, you will see the big church on your left.
3. Turn right by the shop and bar/tabac, and La Vieille Boulangerie is about 300 meters further on the right.
