Attractions:

Apt (20 mins drive) is a must-visit destination for those who enjoy the typical markets in the Provence. Each Saturday people from around the different villages come to the central marketplace to enjoy the local products. Avignon (50 mins drive) is a must-see. Each year in July the celebrated theatre festival takes over the city so you can enjoy street theatre while walking around the city. For those who like a bit of history Avignon is well known for its ramparts, its famous Pont Saint-Bénezet and the Palais des Papes. It is known as the City of the Popes. Roussillon (15 mins drive) The ocre-red village of Roussillon, one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France, is famous for its red ochre cliffs, artist and pottery shops. Be sure to visit the Ochre trail near the village where you will be overwhelmed by the radiant colours of the ochre cliffs. The Foret des Cedres (5 mins drive) On the mountain tops above Bonnieux the botanical trail in this forest of Atlas Cedars leads you to stunning views across the valley. A great place for a shady picnic in the heat of the day.Lourmarin (20 mins drive) In the South Luberon, the charming village of Lourmarin with its streets of honey coloured stone and lovely old chateau. The excellent Friday morning market is also worth a visit.
