Directions
When traveling to Brittany, you will find yourself on the outskirts of St Maurice lès Charencey, located on the RN12 at a distance of 120 km from Paris. It is near Verneuil sur Avre and Center Parcs. It is advisable not to rely solely on your GPS or internet road sites, as they may direct you to pass through Chartres, resulting in a longer journey. Instead, follow these directions:
1. From Paris, you can take either the A13 or A86 and head towards A12 Dreux or St Quentin en Yvelynes.
2. Once you pass Dreux, continue on the RN12 towards Alençon.
3. After traveling 17 km past Verneuil sur Avre and the village of Armentières, you will encounter a junction with four roads.
4. Avoid continuing straight on road 90 or any other higher numbered road.
5. After another 800 meters, make a right turn and slow down to spot the signboard indicating "chambres d'hôtes" and "Gîte Edena (gîte de la Butte)".
