A warm welcome awaits you by the Lecomte family in their Provençal Bastide, a monastery of the late 18th century.Located just a few minutes from the very center of Aix en Provence, the Bastide offers four beautifully decorated guest rooms, with fine period and country furniture, Provençal fabric and luxurious bed linens. Once mas, bastide, monastery then vineyard, our 18th century bastide has undergone total restoration in the past 2 years.
The peaceful and sunny setting among two acres of gardens offers total relaxation, by the large swimming pool, or around a game of badminton, ping pong and, of course, pétanque under the parasol pine trees.
The established garden includes almond, olive, eucalyptus, sycamore, chestnut and lime trees. The unique vegetable and herb gardens are a delight for all eyes.
Enjoy a gourmet breakfast prepared by Caroline each morning on the patio, before exploring the charms of Aix en Provence and the glorious country side much admired by notorious painters and poets.

On highways from the North, West or South:
Upon arriving near Aix, take the A8 highway towards Nice.
Take first exit, #30 A ( Aix - Pont de l’Arc, Luynes). Turn right at the first roundabout, entering RN8 (Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes.
Drive 2.3 km, and you're almost there.
Turn right on the unpaved path between the two posts (2240 is written on the posts).
After 200m, Enter through the gate straight in front of you.
From the East on A8:
Take 2nd exit after the toll, exit #30 (Aix - Pont de l’Arc,). Make a U turn at the first roundabout, then drive south entering RN8 ( AvenueFortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes.
Drive 2.4 km, and you're almost there.
Turn right on the unpaved path between the two posts (2240 is written on the posts).
After 200m, Enter through the gate straight in front of you.
From Aix Downtown (Rotonde):
Take Avenue des Belges (going south from Rotonde) then, straight after roundabout, Avenue Pierre Brossolette./
After crossing over Highway A8. drive 2.4km on RN8 ( Avenue Fortuné Ferrini) towards Luynes, and you're almost there.
Turn right on the unpaved path between the two posts (2240 is written on the posts).
After 200m, Enter through the gate straight in front of you.
From Marignane Airport or TGV Station:
Exit Airport and take route D9, direction "Gare TGV", "Vitrolles". Ignore Signs to Aix Marseille Highway.
Drive approx. 10 km, D9 passes below the TGV station
From the TGV station, Continue on route D9 towards Aix. Stay at all times on D9 until its end at a traffic light (after a few roundabouts).
Turn right at the traffic light, on RN8 (Avenue Fortune Ferrini)and drive 2 km.
Turn right on the unpaved path between the two posts (2240 is written on the posts).
