The accommodation at la Gigude is both simple and comfortable. It features a spacious living room on the ground floor with an open chimney and a fully equipped American style kitchen. On the first floor, there is a bathroom and three bedrooms that can accommodate up to 9 people. Two of the bedrooms have a double and single bed, while the third bedroom has three single beds. Additionally, there are two extra bedrooms and another bathroom on the third floor that can sleep 6 people.La Gigude is not just an accommodation, it is a working farm with 30 goats and 60 sheep. The milk produced by these animals is used to make delicious cheese, which is then sold at local markets. Visitors are welcome to come to the farm to taste and purchase the cheese.
Conveniently located next to the intersection of two main footpaths, the GR36 and the sentier Cathare, La Gigude offers an exceptional geographic position. Surrounded by stunning countryside and offering magnificent views, it provides the ideal setting for a peaceful and memorable holiday.

Directions
To get to Couiza from Carcassonne, take the D118 road. Once there, make a left onto the D613 road, then turn right onto D14, passing through the towns of Rennes les Bains, Bugurach, Cubieres, and Soulatge. Shortly after the village, take a right turn following the sign for "La Gigude" and continue straight for 1.5 kilometers.
If you're coming from Perpignan, take the D117 road and continue past the airport until you reach Estagel and Maury. At Maury, make a right onto the D19 road. When you reach Cucugnan, make a left onto the D14 road. Just before Soulatge, take a left turn following the sign for "La Gigude" and then make a right turn for 1.5 kilometers.
