Description:

Description for B&B:

Situated between the Medieval bastion of Mirepoix and the fortified village of Camon, and nestled in the shadow of Château de Lagarde, you will find Sibra, an ancient farmer complex that has been authentically restored to meet modern comfort standards. Inside this charming complex, lies our guesthouse, ‘Mi-René’, where we warmly welcome guests throughout the year for an unforgettable holiday or mini-break.

Mirepoix, a picturesque town, becomes a tranquil haven during the summer months as it becomes free of traffic, enhancing the beauty of its historic arcades, delightful terraces, and charming squares. The highlight of the week is undoubtedly the bustling market that takes place every Monday, attracting a vibrant crowd of locals and visitors alike.

Just a short distance from Mirepoix, you will find Sibra, where our guesthouse, Mi-René, awaits to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable stay as you explore the wonders of this marvelous region.

Your gracious host, René Vanden Avenne, is supported by his dedicated part-time assistant, Rose-Mary, who happens to be the love of his life.

Directions

Once you arrive in Mirepoix, continue in any direction until you exit the town. Then, follow the signs towards Lavelanet for a few kilometers. When you reach the entrance of La Bastide de Bousignac village, turn left towards Chalabre, Camon, and Château de Lagarde. Stay on this road until you reach a sharp right turn. At this point, leave Lagarde on your left and take the D307 road a few hundred yards further to the right. From here, you will be able to see Sibra, indicating that you are almost there. Take the first small road on the left, which is marked with a sign for SIBRA. Continue on this road until you reach our gate and guesthouse, Mi-René.
