Description for B&B:

The Kerbeleg B&B is conveniently located just 10 minutes away from the charming city of Pont-Aven, famous for its painters, and only 15 minutes away from beautiful beaches. This stunning 15th century stone house is nestled in a peaceful setting, surrounded by a 2 hectare park.

Originally built using stones from a castle constructed in the 15th century, this historic place has undergone various extensions and renovations over time, transforming it from a manor house to a farmhouse, and now a welcoming B&B. The hostess, a history enthusiast, will gladly share her knowledge about the place, and a book with recent research on the region's history is available to read in each room.

Two spacious and comfortable bedrooms have been tastefully renovated, in line with the house's original spirit from six decades ago. Each room offers a picturesque view of the park, facing south for optimal sunlight.

The owner has skillfully transformed Kerbeleg into a bed and breakfast with the help of talented local craftsmen. The farmhouse impresses with its choice of materials and redesigned layouts. The centerpiece of the farmhouse is the cathedral lounge, featuring a grand fireplace, perfect for relaxation and reading. Adjacent to the lounge is the billiard room, a spacious living area with stone floors and exposed beams.

A magnificent stone staircase leads from the billiard room to the two comfortable bedrooms on the landing. Each bedroom has its own shower room, while a separate WC is conveniently located on the landing.

One of the bedrooms, called the BIRDS room, boasts a large original granite fireplace and also includes a small bedroom for two children. The other bedroom, Les OURS, offers a stunning view of the park. Additionally, there is La Maison à PAIN, which used to be the estate's bread oven, and will soon be a charming room for a couple, featuring a mezzanine that can accommodate one or two additional children.

On one side of the living room, behind another impressive fireplace, you will find the kitchen, perfect for indulging in gourmet breaks. The kitchen has been modernized and invites you to enjoy breakfast around a large monastery table made of solid wood.

For leisurely activities, the other side of the living room houses a leisure room and library, complete with a table football and card table. On less sunny days or after a long hike, you can unwind in this peaceful space.

When the weather permits, we set up tables on the terrace overlooking the park, where you may even spot deer, pheasants, and other wildlife during the early morning hours.

Kerbeleg is conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from the motorway, offering easy access to the serene and picturesque countryside. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the region's cultural sites and tourist attractions, including Lorient (renowned for sailing), Quimper, Concarneau with its charming old town, numerous small ports, the abers of South Finistère, and the breathtaking granite sites. With its central location, Kerbeleg is the perfect starting point for a multitude of activities during your stay.
