Description for B&B:

Villa Taillefer is a charming private house located in the heart of the picturesque village of Nanteuil-en-Vallée, known for its historical significance (Petite Cité de Caractère) in the beautiful region of Charente. The house boasts a lovely walled garden that overlooks the Canal des Moines and the river Argentor.

The owners, Gareth and Lesley, have put their personal touch on the house, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere through clever use of color and design. While honoring the rich history of the house, they have ensured that guests enjoy all the modern comforts they need for a relaxing stay.

Guests have the option to choose from three individually decorated en-suite bedrooms, each with its own unique style. The Victor Hugo suite even has a cozy salon for added comfort and privacy. The garden offers various sitting areas where guests can unwind and find their preferred spot to enjoy a good book or simply relax. For breakfast, guests can either dine on the spacious terrace or in the elegant dining room. On Sundays, by prior arrangement, guests can also enjoy a delicious table d'hôte meal. Additionally, there are two popular village restaurants just a stone's throw away.

The hosts, Gareth and Lesley, are delighted to welcome well-behaved, cat-friendly canine visitors in the ground floor bedroom, as they have their own friendly Cocker Spaniel named Isla. The hosts are fluent in both English and French, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and well taken care of during their stay.
