Description:

Description for B&B:

Located in the heart of Yonne in Burgundy, near Avallon, Carpe Diem is a charming guest house that was once a 18th and 19th century's farm. Nestled in the quaint village of Massangis, which has been renowned for its stone quarry for centuries and is peacefully embraced by the serene river Serein.

The famous Massangis stone has left its mark worldwide, supporting the foundation of iconic structures such as the Eiffel Tower, the Abbey of Fontenay, the Grand Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Opera Garnier, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo.

Carpe Diem offers 5 beautifully decorated bedrooms with a welcoming "family spirit" ambiance. The larger rooms feature king size beds, while all rooms offer either an Italian shower or an Island bath, depending on your preference.

The property boasts an enclosed garden and courtyard, providing secure parking for your vehicle.

A delicious breakfast is included in your stay, and every evening (excluding Thursdays), you have the opportunity to enjoy a delightful dinner at our table d'hôtes. However, please note that advanced booking is required for dinner.
