This charming cottage is located in a picturesque forest setting directly on Lake Nissången, just 15 km from the center of Malung in Dalarna. It is conveniently situated 350 km from Stockholm, 420 km from Göteborg, and 710 km from Malmö.

The cottage offers a stunning view of the lake and a peaceful atmosphere. You can easily access the lake for swimming right from the property, and there is a nearby sandy beach perfect for small children.

The spacious sun deck faces south and west, providing a 180-degree view of the lake, allowing you to keep an eye on any swimming children.

Please note that this cottage is charmingly primitive and does not have electricity. Lighting is provided by candles and oil lamps, and drinking water is collected from a well on the lot.

Inside the cottage, the living room features a cozy fireplace, and the dining table is placed by large windows offering magnificent views of the lake. There is a double bed in the back of the room.

The main bedroom has two bunk beds, following the traditional Dalecarlian style, accommodating a total of four people. Additional twin beds are available in a small bedroom in the boathouse building.

The kitchen does not have running water, but it is equipped with a wood stove, LPG stove and oven, and LPG fridge.

On the beach, there is a log house that contains a wood-fired sauna, a simple camping shower, and a relaxation room with breathtaking views of the lake. The log house also features a two-level sundeck and a connecting pier into the lake.

The boathouse includes a woodshed, rowboat, and two bicycles. Safety vests in adult and children sizes are also available. There is a separate privy with a view of the lake.

For fishing enthusiasts, the lake offers good opportunities to catch perch and pike.

During the mid- and high seasons (late June, July, August), the minimum rental period is two weeks, with a Saturday changeover day.

The weekly rates include firewood, LPG gas, a rowboat, and two standard bicycles. In the high season, the rates range from SEK 6900 to 7600, while in the low season, they range from SEK 5500 to 6200.

You are expected to leave the house clean and tidy, and cleaning materials are provided. Additional services such as final cleaning, bed linen, and towels are available at an extra cost.
