Description for B&B:

Welcome to La Fontaine du Mas, a magnificent mansion dating back to the 17th century, once the residence of the regent of the 4 castles of Thiviers. We are delighted to open our doors to visitors all year round, whether you are passing through or seeking a rejuvenating retreat.

At our estate, we offer a range of attractions for both young and old. Explore our educational farm, admire the beauty of our vegetable garden, and engage in various sporting and cultural activities. Rest assured, we have everything you need for an unforgettable and exotic stay.

If you're an avid cyclist, you'll be pleased to know that the starting point of the Flow Vélo® is conveniently located just across from Thiviers station. This scenic route will take you on a journey to the ocean, all the way to the charming island of Aix in Charente-Maritime. Along the way, you'll experience picturesque countryside, visit quaint towns and villages with character, and enjoy the tranquility of pedaling alongside the water.

The Dordogne department boasts the highest number of castles in France, with over 619 castles and 382 residences. It's no wonder that Périgord, the region we are nestled in, is often referred to as the country of 1001 castles.

Thiviers, one of the six gateway towns to the Périgord-Limousin regional natural park, is the perfect base for exploring this breathtaking region. And with our ideal location, you can easily reach us by train, bike, or car.
