Located in a restored old barn, this charming rural gite is made of country stones and can accommodate up to four people. It offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, while still being conveniently close to the beautiful Lake of Causse, where you can enjoy various water activities such as swimming, rowing, and fishing. The gite is only 5km away from Brive La Gaillarde.

Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac path, the house is part of a group of buildings surrounding a courtyard, set on a 15-hectare estate, which allows for safe walks in the nearby forest. The owners live in a separate house on the other side of the courtyard.

The gite has a capacity of four people and covers a surface area of 65m². The spacious living room, spanning 44m², includes a fully equipped kitchen area and opens onto a terrace. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed (140cm) and a child bed, and another with two single beds (90cm). The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and there is a separate toilet. The gite is heated with electrical heating and includes amenities such as a gas hotplate, electrical oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, and a high chair for a baby. Outside, there is a terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue.

For shopping needs, there is a commercial center just 3km away, and the town center of Brive La Gaillarde is only 5km away.

There are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area, including picturesque villages like Donzenac, Turenne, Collonges-la-Rouge, and Curemonte. You can also explore the slate quarry of Travassac, visit the National stud farm in Pompadour, discover various prehistoric sites such as Lascaux, or venture to the village of Rocamadour and the gulf of Padirac, which are approximately 50km away. Additionally, there are regional markets, festivals, and artists exhibitions to enjoy.

Prices for 2009 are as follows: 420€ per week (including charges) during the very high season, 400€ per week (including charges) during the high season, 350€ per week (plus charges) during the middle season, 320€ per week (plus charges) during the low season, and 350€ per week (plus charges) during school holiday periods. Weekend stays are also available for 120€ (plus charges).
