Situated just outside the cathedral town of Coutances in the village of Orval, Nick and Lesley Edmunds are pleased to offer you this bright and sunny bed and breakfast accommodation. Attached to the main house but completely self contained on the ground floor, with its own private entrance, there is a large double bedroom with a double bed, en suite shower room, television, plus tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a table and chairs where a delicious breakfast will be brought directly to you. A cot and highchair can be provided if required. Wi-fi internet connection also available.Safe, sandy beaches are less than 10 minutes away at Hauteville sur Mer and Agon Coutainville. Lots of restaurants in the area providing a good opportunity to sample the local fare, ranging from good value set menus to the gourmet style seafood platters. As well as the weekly markets there is also a market held on Sundays at nearby Hauteville sur Mer. Golf course and horse riding in Agon Coutainville plus a tennis court in the village.
The ferry ports at Cherbourg, Caen and Saint Malo are all within a 90 minute drive away and we can offer you discounted ferry fares from Portsmouth and Poole.

Directions
Approximately 5kms south of Coutances on the D971, you will see a sign for ORVAL on the right. Turn right here and carry straight on up the hill, over the railway line, and where the road forks, turn to the right. We are the second house on the right with a red gravel drive. You will see the number 11 on the gable end of the house.
