Guests are free to use all facilities at La Platriere, including large guest lounge (open log fire in winter), swimming pool and gardens. Meals can either be taken indoors in the dining room or outside on the sun terrace.

Every Wednesday morning, the local market is held in the village, and people flock here from all the other villages for their weekly fresh fish, organic vegetables and delicious cheeses. There are 2 bakeries in the village, a well-stocked grocer and a very good butcher-cum-deli, so the morning croissants, pains au chocolat and other necessities are just a short walk away. There is also a very good and reasonably priced restaurant in the local auberge on the main square. La Maison du Bailli is also available for long winter lets, as it has central heating.
