To reach The Romanerie, you can take the TGV train from Montbard station, which is located 12 km away. The journey from Montbard to Paris takes approximately one hour by TGV. If you are coming by car, you can take the Bières les Semur exit from the south or the Avallon exit from the north.

Our location offers beautiful surroundings such as lakes, rivers, forests, farmland landscapes, and medieval architecture, which showcase the charm of Burgundy's cities and villages.

During your visit to the Auxois region, you will have the opportunity to indulge in the local wine and gastronomy, which are specialties of Burgundy.

If you wish to explore Paris for a day, you can take advantage of a special round-trip TGV ticket for only 18 Euros on Saturdays.

For pedestrians, the train is a convenient option, and you can rent bikes at the Montbard station. Don't forget to contact the tourist office in Montbard and mention us as a partner to receive discounts.
