The Host Table:

For begginers, you have to know that the meals taken in hosts' table are very different from those taken in traditional restaurants!

The atmosphere is extremely friendly, the owners dine with the hosts, and everybody speaks to everybody! It is the opportunity to meet people coming from everywhere in France (and in the world!), to learn about the habits and customs from Bearn (told by Rolande and her family), to enjoy the products of the farm...

The regional gastronomy is moreover extremely considered, and almost all the products which we serve are from our farm! Our kitchen garden, our animals and our orchard allow us to propose you bio and delicious meals!

During your stay, you will have the possibility to enjoy:

- the famous garbure soup,

- home charcuteries,

- crudenesses just taken out of the garden,

- the duck confit and its zucchini and blue cheese gratin,

- house chicken in onions,

- the roasted duckling and its vegetables,

- home sausages accompanied with our famous piperade,

- farm calf,

- ceps or peppers omelets,

- pork confit and its gratin dauphinois,

- fresh salads,

- excellent cheeses from the region,

- sweet fruits from our orchard,

- and many other home-made patisseries...

(this list is not exhaustive, of course, but we don't have a menu card, and we prepare the meals from day to day!)

Our hosts always have complimented the quality of

our tables, and it is with a real pleasure that we continue to share our best receipes!

The meals, during which you will sometimes hear our family sing songs from Bearn (when Jeannot, the brother, comes to say hello) are mostly taken outside, in our big courtyard, and if the weather does not allow it, then it is in our beautiful ferme auberge that we shall invite you to share dinner!

Que du bonheur et que de bons souvenirs ! nous avons adoré. Nous ne nous étions pas trompés.
Même si cela fait quelques années, nous n'avons pas oublié ce lieu magique. Merci

Une chambre d’hôte qui ne vole pas sa réputation !
Rolande accueille ses hôtes avec cœur et respect dans la tradition de l’hospitalité du Béarn. Vous ne manquerez de rien, ni d’un sourire, ni d’un mot gentil, ni d’une écoute, ni d’une réponse !
La chambre est spacieuse et fleure bon les bois des parquets et des vieux meubles de noyer.
Quand à la table très copieuse, elle est dans le respect de la tradition culinaire familiale, du « fait maison » , de l’élevage jusque dans l’assiette ! Une ambiance conviviale avec jurançon et des chansons du Béarn à l’occasion.
Toute la maisonnée met la main à la pâte du matin au soir et du soir au matin pour nous être agréable.
Une « MAISON » à la hauteur qui fait honneur à la corporation !

If you arrive from PAU :

* Take the direction> SARAGOSSA /OLORON STE MARIE

on the road "N134"

* Go through the city of GAN and keep on following> SARAGOSSA / OLORON

* After 10 to 12 km on the "N134", you'll arrive in a said place named « Bélair » with a restaurant on the right side " Restaurant Bellevue ". On your left, you'll find an amazing sight seeing spot of the Pyrenees.

*300 meters after that, bend to the left, and take the road "D34", direction> Buzy -->3kms

* Once arrived in the village, at the STOP, turn left, then on the 2nd street to the right, and follow the signs

« Ferme Auberge/Chambres d'hotes/Rolande Augareils » for 300 meters, until you get to the pretty square of the washhouse!
